As Manager Financial Crimes Systems and Services, John is responsible for identification, development and implementation of strategies and initiatives that enhance the capabilities of the Suncorp Financial Crimes Department. John also manages the strategic relationships with vendors involved in the provisioning of Suncorp’s Financial Crimes Systems and Services.

Prior to this appointment, John was the Senior Manager of Suncorp’s Financial Crimes Analytics Team which was responsible for fraud detection/prevention strategies and solution implementations across Banking, Insurance, Wealth, Workforce, Anti Money Laundering (AML), Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) and Sanctions.

John has over 30 years of experience developing and leading high performing, diversely skilled teams within the Banking, Insurance and Hospitality industries. John is also the current President of the Asia Pacific PRM User Group and has also chaired the Australian Interbank AML/CTF/Sanctions Analyst Group for several years.
